According to Speaker Paul Dunn, mattering more, is more important. The more you matter, the more indispensable you are.

You move from being unmissed to missed if you do not show up.

So, how do you do this? According to Paul it’s about creating purpose to your business. Being a force for good.

Not just having good financials but making a positive contribution to society. This is a new shift in how companies are doing business, even in the world of investment. This is because impact investment is growing dramatically right now.

So, what are the benefits?

Firstly, you create a positive culture that top employees are attracted to. Secondly, you attract clients that are increasingly demanding that this culture exists in the companies they spend their money with.

Paul says it can be done incrementally by focusing on connecting more. Companies like B1G1 created by Masami Sato, now exist to help businesses to do this by connecting businesses to charities. It now involves thousands of businesses.
